hello everyone, my friends car won't start, it's a 2005 mazda3 i believe, when we try to start it, the dashboards lights go wild (flashing-quickly), including the gear selection lights that cycle from park, rev, neutral, 1st & 2nd while cranking, it looks very neat but it just won't fire up, battery is showing 12.6V i didn't measure cranking amps, however, it turns over easily and the headlights and brights are as brights as they should be...
when I try left or right signal the front lights will work, back will not, also same when I try 4 ways flash light or when I open the car by key button
I tried resetting the system last night, disconnected battery (held the brake for 15 seconds), gave the exact same symptom afterwards...
On the internet I found that I need to change, Back Up Lamp Switch NS-528 I went to Mazda but they told me there is no such a part, it can be for manual car only
any clues or suggestions?
