PROTEGE 5
I JUST INSTALLED A SET OF NEW WHEELS AND TIRES ON MY PROTEGE5, THEY ARE 17x7 42+ OFFSET, AND THE TIRES ARE 205/45/R17. I HAVE NOTICED A LOT MORE WHEEL FEEDBACK, I LIVE IN THE BOSTON AREA AND THE ROADS ARE ROUGH AND UN VEN, I HADN'T NOTICED BEFORE, BUT NOW THE TIRES SEEM TO PULL INTO GROOVES OF THE ROAD, I HAVE HAD A ALIGNMENT DONE AND IT MADE NO DIFFERENCE, ALSO ON THE HIGHWAY IT PULLS TO THE SLOPE OF THE ROAD. IS THIS TO BE EXPECTED WITH LAGER WHEELS AND A HIGHER OFFSET? THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR FEED BACK

First, turn off your caps lock because it sounds like YOU ARE SHOUTING.

A lower profile and stickier tire will make your car "tram" more, ie: follow the grooves and crown of the road more. So it isn't necessarily the offset but the tire size. Yes it is normal.

thanks, i apoligze about the caps, i work at engineering firm and we type everything in caps, i don't even relize its on anymore
