Shifting Hittin' Hard

From what I've gathered on here it sounds like it is common for the MS6 to hit pretty hard while shifting...Mine specifically feels like it hits hard when im really gettin on it and shifting into 2nd. Do I understand that there is an aftermarket engine mount that takes care of this? Does it replace a stock engine mount or is it an additional mount?

-Also, over time is this hurting anything with it hitting hard like that?

yes the new rear engine mount will solve this. also a short throw shifter helps as well with shifter bushings.

depends on what durometer you get.. i had the awr 88 durometer one first and it was a little bit too much vibes for me so i got the 70 and its perfect. one of the best mods for this car i think

Is it bad for the car or will it cause damage if the aftermarket mount isn't installed?
