I have a 2007 Mazda6 Sports Wagon - bought it used in early 2013. It came with 18" rims and a brand new set of low profile Pirelli's. I replaced a rear one last fall, and yesterday I blew a front drivers side (I knew it was going to happen - there was a small bulge). Wondering what my best options are:
Replace just the front tire with an identical Pirelli low profile
Replace the front two
Replace all four with something more practical (all season radials) for Canadian Winters, and something less expensive?!
Can you put normal all season radial tires on 18" rims? (I'm obviously pretty new to this).
Was the Mazda 6 Wagon ever really intended to have performance tires? I know my brother who has a Mazda 3 w/ a Sport Package, was told the low profile tires were added as a marketing technique, rather than being what was intended for the car.
