Removal of A pillar trim

Does anone have info on how to remove the passenger side a pillar trim on a 2011 CX9? I want to run a wire up to the rear view mirror.

I plan to tap into the fuse panel for switched pwer. Is this easiest place to find switched power?

Pull out the black piece of trim molding next to the "A" pillar and the body. Pull out, gently the pillar to the inside, it will on snap, and pull out without bending it. Reverse the prcedure when you put it back on. Should take about 15 seconds to remove it!

You should run the wires up the driver-side A-pillar, not the passenger side.
There are switch/constant 12V contact points inside the kick panel.
To remove the A-pillar trim.
- pull it toward you while you sitting on the driver's seat.
- once it pops out about 1 inch - stop pulling
- slide it upward toward the ceiling
Reverse the process (might need to adjust the pin) to install it back.
Passenger's side is the same if you still insist.
