Dang, there's sure a lot of P5s, Proteges, and 3's running around up there !


Any guess why there seems to be so many more Mazdas up there than in SoCal ?

I dont know why but its true the place is full of Mazdas .... what kind of cars do you see in SoCal ?

I went to Pennsylvania in May and didn't see any 3s .. even while driving there. Any idea why there aren't as many 3s in the US than here ? We are about 70,000 people in my city (Montreal suburb) and there are at least 9 MSP that i know of. There is probably as many Proteges (Proteges and P5 together) as there are Civics here. which is pretty impressive cuz there's a s*** load of them too

Were you participating in the Rallye ? I almost went but something else came up

It is impossible to not spot either a mazda protege/protege 5 or a mazda 3 once you leave your street.

THe reason that there are so many of them is prolly cuz they are affordable and superior to their competitors. My mom was in the market for an economic car, and her choices were either the mazda 3 or a civic, the choice was pretty obvious.

In the St Agathe Des Mont area I probably saw more P5s in one weekend than I have
seen in SoCal since we bought ours last November ...


Ran the rally in an Escort Cosworth . . . Wahoooo !
Took 9th overall with a fairly new driver, full recce, running notes.

all the kids here buy civics, usually older ones like early 90' to maybe 95-96 cuz they're pretty cheap and usually, they last a while. The P5 was named Best Car of 2002 i think and it was less expensive than a new Civic, and it was a new model ... we used to see civics everywhere so i think people were tired of them. I loved mine while i had it
