2007 Mazdaspeed3
I thought it'd be fun for people to post a log of the work they've had to get done to their MS3 since they owned it. It'll help people get an idea of what ownership of one of these cars is like, and help people find other people who have had to do similar repairs. Please don't include things like oil changes, tire replacements, etc.

Mazdaspeed 3
Purchased: January 2012
Mileage:52000
Year:2007

Repairs:
Mileage: 70,000
Repair: Blown pressure plate and slave cylinder (Go with an OEM slave cylinder, unless you want your clutch to be even more on-off feeling, as mine is now)
Cost:~$1600 parts and labor (Mazda for pressure plate, mom and pop shop for slave cylinder and line bleeding, also replaced clutch while replacing pressure plate)
Also replaced all four plugs with OEM (Mazdaspeed 3's are a little finicky with plugs I've found. They don't like bad auto-zone plugs)

Mileage: 73,000
Repair: Blown rear passenger shock
Cost: ~$150 (OEM shock, put on by a friend)

Mileage: 89,000
Repair: Blown front drivers side shock
Cost: ~$400 parts (Two Koni Yellow shocks) ~$100 Repair labor (a friend)\

Anyway, thats about it for me so far with my MS3. I've also added a few bolt-ons, but those don't really count as repairs. I though others could keep a log of their repairs in the hope of helping out other MS3 owners.

2007 Mazdaspeed 3 GT Cosmic Blue Mica

Car has ~127K and ALL maint. is done and has been since 68K when I bought the car.

I have some upgrades done to it (to preserve it) than for power.

Brakes: EBC red brake pads (110K)
Brakes: Centric HD rotors (110K)
OEM thermostat: (OEM) at 115-117K
Battery replaced at 110K (AZ Gold 09/12)
Front driver axle replaced at 124K.
Water pump OEM at ~100K
Many a sets of plugs,last at (123K) NGK6510's
Radiator flushed yearly (70K,90K,100K) and then at 117K when I did the thermostat
Flushed gearbox with OEM fluid at 70K and then the FoMoCo at 71K (didn't like that feel at 71K). Still feels smooth as butter after 50K+
This is something I take EXTREME pride in: OCI's done with Pennz Ultra & Plat every 2800-3000K religiously.
Brake fluid flushed at 72K.
PS fluid: done at 80K-115K and have always siphoned and filled (turkey baster method) with OEM fluid.
Seafoamed every 1K-2K from 70K-105K and then every OCI afterwards.
FP internals re-cleaned/checked at 112K
PCV at 93-94K (see below)
OEM rear endlinks at 74-75K
OEM Bose stereo at 118-119K (cannot reset time correctly) since then
BFG KDW'2 replaced at 92K
OEM wheels/Rims replaced at 93K (Enkei FLC-01 Matte Bronze) one extra is included due to DT fuckup on install not knowing 5x100 and 5x114.5 difference
Lamin-X on front headlights and fogs 121K (orig headlights replaced at 95K)
Thermostat changed at 118K

Here are the mods:

CP-E TMIC installed at 98K
Autotech FP internals at ~94K (completly cleaned, not just cleaning the cam area)
CP-E DP installed at 102K
TurboXS Catback at 102K
Bilstein struts and shocks at ~105-106K with used dampers with appox 40-45K on them. (so this is the third set)
Fumoto drain valve at 68K
NGK (6510's) installed at 123K (changed every 5-10K due to SF'ing)
Eibach ProKit at the same time as above and assume the same mileage
COBB SRI at 71K (cleaned filter every 3-6K)
COBB TIP at 71K (cleaned every ~6-10K)
SU TB phenolic spacer at ~90K
Matt Damond/SM OCC at 93-94K~
COBB rear swaybar at 75K-80K

Omori Electronic boost gauge installed at 80K (4 yrs old at that time and is spot on from AP)
JBR AP mount
CS airbox for COBB SRI installed at 71K
COBB AccessPort
EGR deleted/blocked off at 71K

What happened with the front axle? Did that break from launching it, or was that some sort of accident?
