Hey guys,

I'm planning on changing my oxygen sensors. I've seen some cheap ones on Ebay, which they labelled as "universal".. And some $70 ones which aren't. What do you think of those? Do they work good? I would buy from an Auto Parts store, but the prices are pretty steep (close to $200 each). I'm not sure if links are allowed on this site, but here are 2 items that I've been looking to buy.

If anyone has any experience with these kinds of parts, that'd be a big help.

Do NOT buy any universal oxygen sensor, especially off of eBay (I can guarantee you'll be disappointed). Go to RockAuto.com and check out their direct fit sensors. I think they can be had for about $100.

I recently changed mine with the Bosch universal.. I got mine from Amazon. with free shipping. double check part # with Bosch.com and leave extra length wire to deal with the connector. minor hassle, major savings, works fine

you need the 4 wire

Buy the OEM fit unit plug and play. I had a universal Bosch and it screwed up my AFC settings. When I got the OEM smooth sailing.

yeah i currently have the universals in my car. ever sense i have put them in i have had issues. I even double and triple checked the wiring on the connectors and everything was correct.

Since i put them in i have been throwing a check engine light...time to buy OEM replacements.

Do yourself a favor, and buy the OEM so you dont spend twice as much money and waste your time.

Check the dealer too. A friend of mine was going to buy one from parts source but decided to just check the dealer price and it was a lot lower, maybe half the price, of parts source.
