I know that a 225/55/19 will fit properly on a 7, 7.5, or 8" rim width. Unfortunately there's practically no 19x7 rims - (stupid Mazda). Will putting my stock tires on a 19x8 rather than 19x7 give me less protection from curb rash due to the tire not extending out as far?
