New power window motor has 6 pins the old one has 2

I bought a new power window motor for the drivers window. It has a 6 pin receptacle, the old motor has a two pin receptacle. Will this new motor work? The place I bought from said its the correct motor. I don't want to go through the hassle of replacing it unless I know it will work. Seems to me if the motor has 6 pins, the plug should too.
