new 2013 mazda cx9 oem mazda gps

Just wondering here, i have an 08 cx9 gt with the factory navigation w rear view camera, i think is a good set up but im wondering if anyone has done a swap on their gps. I think the newer is better and the new cx9 gps looks great . My point is, if is possible to install the new gps in the older cx9 model, from what i seen online it looks like the nee gps will fit , to me it looks like the same size in both gps. Knowing that the connection will be different . But this is just me wondering new gps looks better, in quality and improvements.

You would have to pay a rediculous amount of money for a newer one unless you could find one at a junk yard. Might be plug & play, who knows.
