need some help with this noise

started to hear this about a week ago, but then it wasnt so bad, but now i can hear it whenever i drive and i feel that this needs to be taken care of asap. if any one could point me in some direction of what may be the issue i would appreciate it very much.

turns out it was my water pump. the pump went out on me when i was on my way home from school. had it towed to local mechanic. we will see what the damage is in the morning.

as long as it didnt over heat it should be fine. make sure the timing belt and other acc. belts are done at the same time if you have the money

as soon as i heard it stop humming and the battery light came on i knew what happened. pulled over immediately and had it towed to my local. hopefully ill have her back tomorrow.
and i made sure to let them know to go through everything else and just check to see if there was anything else that should be replaced while shes under the knife.
