FYI - The RX-8 is not a 2 + 2.

It depends on who you ask, insurance companies list it as everything from a 4 door coupe to a 2 door sedan (the way mine is).
I believe Top gear, and Car and Driver list it as a 2 + 2, not sure tho.
I have to say that the rear seats are quite roomy.

So its not a 2+2 because you cant seat 2 persons on the back seats? I actually thought the 2+2 referring to something else lol..

A 2+2 is usually described as a vehicle with 2 doors and 4 seats, the back seats being that of only fitting for children. (ie. Porsche 911, Mitsu Eclipse, Genesis Coupe, Infiniti G coupe, etc.)

The RX-8 however has 4 doors and plenty of room for 4 adults.
