mazda protege5 shocks/struts

a guy is parting out a mazda 6 2006 wagon 3.0l v6.


im trying to figure out if the shocks on his car will fit on my 2002 mazda protg 5?

do I go to a dealer and ask this question or how else can I find out if the shocks / struts on his car will fit on my mazda protg 5 2002?

The simple answer is no, however the front calipers/rotors fit straight up and the rears with minimal work.

As does the rear wiper arm with a tad bit of modification. The wiper switch will also swap into a P5 and you will gain the intermittent function. That's about all that will swap over though. Shocks and struts on the 6 are completely different than the struts on the P5.
And considering aftermarket struts are so cheap, 11 year old stock Mazda struts would not be worth installing anyway.

Headlight/turn signal switch also fits and works, I have one on mine with supporting wiring to use the fog switch to enable key on/lights on function.
