Just rebuild the engine what now

I just rebuilt my mp5 engine I put ACL main and rod bearings perfect cicle piston rings mazda oil pump water pump timing kit. I left the stock piston forge were to expensive I have a baby lol. what else should i put before I put boost on it?

did you put the stock rods back in?

ehhhh, should have maybe upgraded
the rods are the main thing that go when people turbo there cars, the pistons have proven to be fine as long as you dont run it lean

but as long as you dont up the boost over 7 u SHOULD be fine, but ive seen people blow there engine on stock boost levels so its hard to say

U need lots of stuff. Should have gone forged though

I'm boosting stock internals. 8psi Spikes to 10psi for over a year. So far so good.

you may want to rethink that as you stated you didnt buy rods and pistons because of the baby. turbo kit isnt cheaper and you are bound to run across issues.
