Is there a difference in the 2004-08 Mazda 3i 2.0 models engine and drivetrain???

I need a straight forward and accurate answer. Can a performance clutch for the 04-06 Mazda 3i 2.0 be used in the 08's??? What kind of ecu tuning handheld or chip or both can be done for the 2.0???
