Well for starters the car has a forged motor with 4000 miles on it since the rebuild, FMIC, header back aftermarket exhaust alos a new turbo. For a while i was having an issue where the car would start to idle surge on cold start up's to like 1500 then down to almost stalling. After replacing the coils, plugs and wires it's only done it once since then. I'm althought still having a low idle issue but also seems to be only boosting to 3 or 4 psi then picking up the higher in the rpm's you go (but doesn't always do this). Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Most likely a wastegate or BOV sticking if the boost is slow to build. Idle problem could be a dirty MAF, clogged IAC, even a dirty EGR or vacuum leak

Awesome, thank you for the information. it definitely is slow to build, i think it has a knock off RFL. the car sat for a few years prior to the rebuild so the MAF is probably in need of a good cleaning same with the IAC or EGR.
