Help with tranny please

Back story......pulled everything for slight rebuild and put in msp lsd. the half shaft is in place.....but for the life of me the driver's side axle will not go in. I start to put it in and the teeth hi and will spin it but about half way it bind and then tranny will not spin???


WTF....i want to drive it


so the axles(msp - protege's) are interchangable?
what else could be the cause?

im not doubting my work but how can the install be screwed???could putting the half shaft in and bolting it down first 'misaligned' it??
