A Aveen15 Member : Mazda 6 2015 Jan 19, 2015 #1 Today I did my first oil change on my 2015 Skyactiv M6. I found I needed a full 5qts ( Castrol 0w-20 ) and the dip stick still shows it is still a bit south of the full mark. The specs indicate just 4.8 qts to fill. Has anyone else experienced this?

E eyedocorlando : 2014 Mazda 6 GT with MRCC Jan 25, 2015 #3 Totally Normal - use the full 5 qts. It's good to have some head room because you may get a light increase in oil level from fuel dilution over time.
