I have seen the posts about ac not working on 1,2&3 but my heater fan only works on 4 at which point the ac light goes off. Is it probably just the fan switch? I got the car in the summertime and I don't really use ac unless it's super hot outside so I didn't notice the problem for a while.

Did this version of the fix a few years back and haven't looked back since. Love having my AC work on all settings. Getting ready for the AC season in FL

Resister setting 4,is straight 12volts all other motor setting use a blower resister.
So I should start with the resister? Or is that in the switch itself?

Resister us behind the glove box in the bottom of the blower motor. Pull it out I could see the broken wire traces in mine.
That did the trick, replaced it today now all speeds work and ac works on all 4 now thanks I almost replaced the switch that would have been $38 but I got the resister for $35 and that's much easier to replace
