It was a pretty good event this weekend at Michelin's proving grounds. The lot is awesome to say the least. They call it black lake since it is 14 acres of perfectly smooth blacktop. It is actually odd to drive on because it is so smooth.
I am still only using the stock 6" wide wheels and that definitely doesn't help things. Also the car wasn't perfect, but is it a mash of parts we are testing. Once we get everything on there it will be a lot better. The results just got put up today. Made me feel better. 155 drivers and I was 39th in raw time and 13th by pax.

Saw my first Exocet there. That is a DDMWorks customer in the background with their Sky.
Very pretty C2 corvette which ran.
New Michelin test car. I am friends with a number of the test drivers who were driving it.
Here is the video from my fastest run. The new pavement causes lots of tire squeel. Even cars with slicks were making sounds all the way around. Wasn't my best driving because I understeered pretty bad at the end, but overall the times were still pretty good so I was happy.
