Control button won’t toggle (2018 CX-5)

The central control button on my 2018 cx5 won’t toggle. The button isn’t frozen but the screen doesn’t react. When I turn it it does react properly.

Central control button? Are you talking about the big ole knob between the seats that controls the infotainment system?

If so, you should have posted this in that section of the forum.

@Jmin When describing a problem it's best to be as descriptive as possible about what you're doing, what you expect the result to be, and what you observe the actual result to be. The large knob that is used to control the infotainment system has several actions, none of which I would describe as a toggle.

push down
move left
move right
move up
move down
rotate

If what you refer to as "toggle" means pushing the button down then there could be some debris that is preventing the button from traveling downward. Do you feel the button moving downward when you push on it? If so then the problem could be with the switch. Does the button exhibit this behavior for everything on the entertainment system? Or just for certain things?
