Clutch Cut Switch keeps faiing

So a while back my car started having problems starting. As in i'd turn the key, accessories would turn on, but starter wouldn't even try to spin. I'd turn the key a few more times and eventually it would start right up. After becoming more and more stubborn I decided to replace the clutch cut switch. Doing that seemed to have fixed the problem.

But it has since started doing it again..Pressing the plunger down does not help.

Anyone know what would be causing these clutch switches to fail?

I had to jump the connector just to get the car started today.
