changed rear cross member, now swaybar bracket do not line up

:
02 Mazda P5
I have a 01 mp3, do to it having rust I swaped out the rear cross member. But now the brakets that hold the swaybar do not bolt up, as the brackets from the mp3 are bigger. So I used the brackets from the new cross member and the bar is very stiff has no play at all. Do I need to buy the awr braket to fix the offset of the bar.

In the long run... Probably. But for now, As long as it bolts down firmly and you're using the same bushing You should be fine. Whether or not the bar physically contacts anything or not, That would be your issue. If it doesnt hit anything the only real risks are squeaking or breaking a bracket. Maybe also a strut tab from the added stiffness. Grease it up though.
