It usually is, Car And Driver loves the CX-5.
Once Mazda offered the Turbo option, it really put the CX5 model front and center. It took an already great compact SUV and gave it that extra needed to place as a 10 best.
Arguably it should have been a 10 best this entire 2nd Generation, C&D as with other publications always wanted a 2nd engine option and deducted points up until 2019.
