I haven't been able to figure this one out on my own, and don't see it in the manual... perhaps there is no fix.
When I have my bluetooth active the voice for the voice prompt as well as the ring-tone for incoming calls are MUCH louder than my current stereo or the in-call bluetooth volume. If I have the stereo on, when an incoming call comes in the ring is almost ear splitting... but the call itself will be either quiet or about right. Same thing with the "bluetooth device connected" prompt the first time I make a call though that I can anticipate.
Is there any way to adjust the ring-volume independent of the master audio volume? I tried adjusting ring volume on my phone but that had no effect.
