Black Exhaust Pipes

Hi again!

I've been looking and looking but have not found any info on this.

I've been running 89 and 91 grade gas. I have an 07 AWD.

This is my first turbo and I was wondering if the exhaust pipes are suppose to be all covered with soot?

I've notice more and more fequently that the exhaust pipes are black, black, black.

Any idea if this is related to the turbo or bad gas?

Black exhaust is from the turbo and i dont think there is much a guy can do about it.

mine was really bad before I got the recall done like in 2 days it was black again I just keep them clean with this stuff ... eagle 1 never dull polish... I only have to clean them like once a month now still looks brand new still.
how many miles are on your cx7 it might just be the exhaust breaking in its bad in every car the first 5000 miles cause the cats and resonators are so new
