Are my cams repairable?

So i was going to replace my head gasket and i came accross this. Is this normal? Can they be fixed? Any info would be appreciated.

I mean short of replacing the head there's really not much you can do. I'd clean them up a bit with some emery paper, and run it.

Well the plan was to have the head machined, but with this thing that came up, would it better to just buy a remanufactured head that comes with the cams, etc.

The cam doesn't have traditional bearings. The cam rides right in the head, so machining them will cause the clearance to be to much.
