This whining noise goes away when I turn the wheel even slightly. Seems like RPM effects the noise, lowers it. I also had a code U0155 but this noise has been happening for a little while. I had the same code U0155 about a month and a half ago, but was told it was nothing.
Could this noise be the alternator, causing a surge over 10V triggering the u0155 code? I had the belt tensioner replaced but didn't help. also had the ERG valve replaced as that's the only place smoke had escaped.
