So my question is just what the title says. Previously I had a Mazda 5 2007 which became damaged beyond repair by water from Hurricane Ida. At the time I was looking for a new vehicle anyhow due to its age. I ended up getting a Sonata. I found it to be more comfortable than the Mazda 6. However I've been having issues with it and just got it fixed but now knowing other common issues with this vehicle I see it as a ticking time bomb. I tried out a Mazda 6 for a day and even measured some dimensions to confirm it wasn't just in my head. I just feel cramped sitting in it. I can't spread my knees as much due to the center console being so wide. I wish I could have the Sonata cabin in a Mazda 6. I really feel like Mazda really dropped the ball with this interior. It's a shame because I really like the 6 otherwise. Is there any car like this? If I can't find a late model car I like I may end up getting a functional but inexpensive boring car like a Honda Fit.
Any car like the Mazda6 but with a more spacious interior...Suggestions?
