99 to a 01?

ive got a 99 protege. can i put a 01+ front clip on it. i bet the hood and fenders fit but head lights? bumper?

You need the whole front end lights, fenders, bumper, bumper support, hood

GREAT THANKS! im thinking this might be the way to go. most of the bumbers i find online for the 99-00 are ugly or VERY expensive! Now please forgive my ignorance, but bumper support? are we talking a bolt on part? or cutting and welding the front part of the unibody? ive lowered my car, done timing belt, stereo, brakes, bearings mechanical stuff but ive never done body work.

Its the bar thats behind the bumper you have to swap it out i dont think itll fit with the new bumper. Everything should be bolt right up alot of people have done it but hit up repthemazdas he did it on his hell tell ya exactly what you need. I just went with a hybrid bumper check out both of our build threads

There's no welding necessary, everything bolts on. The bumper support is sometimes known as the bumper (as opposed to bumper cover) or reinforcement bar.

Add the grille to the list, that'll need to change too.
