I've been looking around for a style of wheel that is not as common as some and always come back to style I have a real preference. 5Zigen makes a similar design and alot more affordable than my original BBS choice and was wondering if anyone has these fitted on their P5?

Since the roads around here are far too rough to throw on 18's thinking,
17 x 7 with an offset +48 with 205/40 - 17 rubber would work. They do offer +38 and +55 but from what I have read 48 is the right number, right? I'm not lowered yet but when I do its either going to be HP's with Espelirs or a full coilover set.

After all my reading I am still a bit confused by what exactly works and what doesn't because there are so many varieties that members are running.

Thank you JoshP5 and 2xsess. I am going to try to get everything at once then add the suspension and wheels.

I was looking at those but went with Enkei RPM2s. I'm running a 215 width tire and no rubbing. I love my wheels.

[Edit] I forgot to mention that they only weigh 16.9lbs. A definite plus.

haha I was about to say, those look like robotromeo's rims...

those are sexy...if I didn't get such an awesome deal on mp3 rims+tires I would have gone with something like that. if you and robotromeo ever decide to sell you rims I call first dibs :p

awesome wheels. Don't go for a 205/40 tire though, you can do 215/40 or 205/45 (depending on whether you want to lean toward handling or comfort). I have 205/40 and let me tell you.. it doesn't give you either.

Plus they just don't look that good. I personally think the 40 is too slim for the P5. I've seen lots of folks on here running 45s and they look much better. I think I may get some nicer 16s and stick with a 50 series tire. I tried driving around on the 40s that came on my car for a while and it sucked.

my mp3 rims came with 205/40/17 :( they DO look pretty slim...I'm gonna get 205/45 the next time I buy tires

you have to be pretty low for them to look ok. You got espelir springs didn't you?

Even 215/40 is a big improvement. Here's pics of 205/40
