3.5 spoiler install

Hey guys, I just bought a 3.5 spoiler for my 99 protege. Has anyone installed one before? Any tricks or tips on how to do it?

I got one for my car also. What i did was to drill from the inside of the car. Cause theres 2 small bumps on each side, where the spoiler should be sitting in.
And hooked up the LED to my third brake light. Pretty simple

Oh and how'd you know where to drill if you did it from the inside?

This is what I meant. This is from the driver side, but ull have those 2 small "bumps" on the passenger side.
They are in the inside of your trunk. Take a look.

I just drilled those, and they were a perfect fit.

Unfortunately, the 99 trunk doesn't have those :/ I gotta figure out a way to find the right spot

just an idea but you could put tape on the outside of your truck and then trace the bolts to get where you want to holes and then punch and drill them, but of course check the inner part of the truck for a rough guess if anything is in the way
