Hello everyone i do own mazda 6 year 2019 engine 2.5 automatic gearbox, i want to ask you about gearbox. Is it normal, when car is stopped fully , you to be able to move AUTOMATIC GEARBOX lever fully and to be able to change from P TO N TO D and others, you can move it when you pressed on the brake + you moved the gear lever, i think my button which is in the gearlever is broken could it be if so how i can verify if my gearlever button is broken ? Is IT a big issue is it expensive to replace that button, can i have issues like car automatically to switch gears in motion ? I currently can change gearbox positions with pressed brakes + moving the gear lever , whats the purpose of this button on the gearlever please someone explain , and in case mine is broken will i see some diagnostic code or should i be worried?
