2014 Mazda3 First Drive review links

Another one from the Chicago Tribune, a few mistakes in the article though.

My god did they even look at the car, or did they write this off of a Chinese translation of an initial press release?

The centerpiece of the Touring models of the Mazda 3 is the Active Driving Display, a design that must have been influenced by luxury automakers. When you turn on the car, a 7-inch touch screen emerges from the top of the center stack, above the instrument cluster, to show active driving stats, navigation and other vitals. It’s in line with the dash display and pops up enough so you can see it while focusing on the road beyond it. There’s also a chrome dial in the center console between the gearshift and the cupholder that enables scrolling through the screen.

To be fair they aren't the only ones to have mixed up "heads up display" with "head unit." But I don't think anyone else has done so quite so glaringly.
