Has this happened to anyone else? I have a first gen 2013 CX-5. The other day, when my daughter opened the passenger door to get in, she said she heard some kind of pop and then the light colored padded material on the door was hanging loose. I suppose since I haven’t been driving it as often due to the lockdown and it’s sitting in the hot South Florida sun that hot air trapped underneath the material caused it to pop out?
I took a spludger tool and pushed the edges back under the dark plastic panel and I could feel that the underside of the material has adhesive on it, so it’s not just tension that is keeping the material in place.
