This is what I have for the car description on craigslist. Most of the forum members here know everything about the Speed3, so please feel free to ask any questions after review of the following:
Basics:
2009 Crystal White Pearl Mica Mazdaspeed 3 GT
6 speed manual transmission [only type available]
36,xxx highway miles [commute 60+ miles round trip]
Grand Touring package [HID, Bose, Alcantara + Leather interior, etc. NO Navigation]
One owner [purchased off showroom floor for my 30th birthday in November 2008 from Reliable Mazda in Springfield, MO]
ALL receipts, both gas & service records. 91+ octane & odometer readings logged on every receipt. Every oil change & service performed at Superior Mazda, Bentonville, AR.
Factory drivetain warranty intact up to 5 year / 60,000 miles [also bought an extended warranty to 100k; at this point do not know if transferrable. If it is, the asking price will go up as I paid out of pocket. Currently plan on returning for a pro-rated refund].
Non smoker. Ever. Period. Still has that new car smell because I keep the interior clean as a whistle. No food mess either. Occasional coffee, black [no sugary stuff allowed].
Hand washed & waxed only.
Always garaged. Park it at the last spot, wayyy out there in any grocery/retail adventure, and I need the exercise.
No paintwork/repairs/accident history.
Never Tracked/AutoX'd/Raced. No side-stepped clutch abuse. I like to drive fast when conditions allow; no more no less. Good times.
Extras:
Car is considered OEM+ Stock. Only factory/Mazdaspeed parts used.
Mazdaspeed cold air intake factory part [with air straightener]. Stock airbox included.
4 Ray's Engineering Mazdaspeed 18" track wheels & tires [~15% treadlife left]. These are not the one-piece forged Ray's wheels. They are in the factory Mazdaspeed catalogue. $350/ea new. No TPMS on this set; factory wheels DO have TPMS].
Stock door rub strips removed for a clean appearance [included; easily reapplied with automotive grade double stick tape].
Color matched Mazda emblems.
Brushed aluminum Mazdaspeed gas door.
Hardwired Escort Passport 8500 Radar Detector [negotiable].
Sirius Radio [included from factory; non subscriber]
Auxillary port for ipod/iphone/mp3 player.
All weather rubber mats [stock Mazdaspeed carpet have never been touched; included]
The bad:
Need new tires all around. I will order/mount a new set if you fly & drive.
Rock chips from highway trips to Tulsa and Little Rock and I-540 where our array of construction trucks typically fail to keep covers on their rock/dirt loads.
Two very small door dings I can find.
One minor dent/crease on rear bumper from a low garden cinder block wall I did not see when backing up. Happened a couple weeks ago. Have not repaired yet. :/
Other notes:
I owned a 2004 VW R32 and 2000 GTI VR6 before this Mazdaspeed 3, and am happy to discuss the merits of both autos. Despite having two young children, they do not ride in this car. It is my daily driver & hobby. We like Mazdas so much we bought a Mazda5 right after the Speed3. I planned on keeping this as a 10+ year car, with it having won numerous awards from the likes of Car & Driver, Consumer Reports, etc. It has a 10Best engine! It's a truly great car for an audience who knows they are getting what they pay for. I am a reputable private seller & car enthusiast, with references from others who bought my R32/GTI. Bottom line = I take exceptional care of the things I work hard to purchase. If you are looking for a bottom dollar thrashed Speed3, this one is not for you.
