Hello from Canada,
Just to let you know that my 6 was used to develop the prototype for the 2009 short shift by TWM Performance.
Right now, on the car, I have the stage 2 installed. The throw is reduced and the height of the shifter was lowered. They also replaced the rubber shifter base bushings with CNC machined ones. This eliminated the vagueness in the shifter and it gives a more precise direct shift.
To top it all up, they installed a weighted shift knob and they replaced the factory shift boot with their own version.
Overall this is a great combo and I would recommend it to anyone who drives a MT.
P.S. I do not work for TWM, I just happened to find their website and got in touch with them to know if they had a test car for the 6.
