I have a 2009 Mazda 5 with the 5-speed manual. There is a black metal end cap on the driver's side of the transmission that is weeping fluid, Mazda calls it an extension housing.
I've found an exploded diagram of the housing, and there doesn't look like there is a gasket between it and the transmission case. I have a Mazda workshop manual that has been floating around a few years, but the manual transmission section isn't in the manual.
Anybody ever had a leak from the housing, and I'm assuming since there isn't a gasket some gray RTV would re-seal it?
