1.8L Coil Conversion Advantages?

I see a lot of people doing this. What are the advantages and disadvantages?

Also, what is needed to do this?

There's no performance increase, people do it cause it looks better than the stock coil on plugs. To do it, you'll need the following from a 1.8L protege or 626... valve cover, coils and bracket, plug wires and the harness for the coils will have to be re-located.

I've also heard that the 1.8L coils are a bit more reliable over the 2.0L coils. I've even heard that it smooths out the power band but I'm not sure if that's true. Check out this thread:
