Dead/Dying horn after 3 years?

The other day my horn started sounding funny, like it's only 50% its normal loudness. Checked the fuse, relay, everything is fine. So I ordered a new OEM horn to try replacing it, but it seems very weird to have a horn go bad. Has this ever happened to anyone?

Must be something with Mazda and horns. I used to have problems with my RX-7's horn. Would work sometimes and when you really needed it it wouldn't.

Loose/dirty connection or maybe has a bug living in it.

Could be a dirty ground/connector. But imo you may as well upgrade if you replace them. Low/hi (i.e hella tones) are like $30

Mine would sound almost dead in really cold weather, solved it by buying a new CX5...
