Post Pictures of Your CX-5 Mods, Upgrades and Accessories!

IMO the CX-5 doesn't need any more height than necessary. It already borders on poor proportioning in that regard (another reason I'm still mulling over lowering springs!)

FYI - I painted my roof rails black using PlastiDip from Home Depot and they look identical to the ones posted above. It cost $5 and took an hour. Just another option to consider. I also use my roof rails and cross bars all the time - the PlastiDip has held up very well.

PI did not want my color dulling like all plastidip, And having to redo it to maintain it. There is a lot of plastidip usage here in SA and it usually ends up faded and discolored. I want me colors/paints consistent so I go for durability and quality.

Got my engine light installed, illuminates better than the photo shows.

Does the engine bay light only lit up when the hood is up or did u hook up a switch to it ? It looks handy :)
Sorry, thread didn't show as bold didn't know a new post was here. It comes on when the hood is open only.

Installed Hella horns today. One of the brackets and nut was missing.. but the place was closed on Sunday so I'll have to buff it up later. The braket was made up of 3 plates together so I just took one. This was my first attempt with wiring something like this, I think I did good with the wiring, ended up cutting and redoing some of it once I had it in place to reduce extra wire I had. Also one of them is sitting slightly higher, but I'll fix it once I get the bracket so I can make It more rigid. Sound is more high tone, but louder definitely. I actually did something really stupid when I was testing to make sure they both worked. Without thinking about what I was really doing, I put my ear about 2-3 in away from the horn and beeped it with my fob. I'm lucky I didn't burst my eardrum (seriously). Anyways, for anyone who wants to change their horn, it's an easy process.

Replaced yellow drl with some LED ones.

Do you know what kind of light bulb does the trunk have? That light is so bad... i'm thinking of changing it.

To do the lights/bulbs can you fit them with the headlight unit in situ ?
You can change all o the lights without removing the headlight housing. However, unless you are very certain on how to unclip them and the angle, if you have HIDS you should probably remove the headlight before taking the bulb out.
