CX 5 Grand Touring
Hi Everyone. The vehicle is a 2014 CX5 Grand Touring with sunroof. The drivers floor and left side passenger footwell become very wet after a rain storm. The headliner is dry. I believe that I have found and cleaned the 2 front sunroof drains. Can anyone please pinpoint the drains or offer suggestions on how to solve this? Thanks

Wet floor up front usually means a leaking windshield. If yours has been replaced lately, there's your culprit.

Sorry I can't help with drain holes. No CX for me.

Maybe try running a garden hose over the sunroof and windshield to spot the leak. Maybe it is the heater core leaking, check your coolant level.

Hi,
This is rain water without a doubt. It is not the windshield. I have cleared 2 sunroof drains but I suspect there are more drains that I could not find.

Use a hose on sections of the car. It should not take long see something show up. I would start at the cowl for a cowl leak. Then try the base of the windshield and then the whole windshield and lastly the sunroof.

I believe you cleaned the holes in the sunroof.
The other drain holes are under the chassis.

Find the holes that drain water to the ground.
With my old CX9 (2005), it was behind a heat shield...
