Has anyone driven a....

newer Subaru WRX? My wife and I are thinking about replacing her car with one. Currently, she has a Subaru Legacy, and I am really liking the new WRX. I test drove a couple of them, and I found it a blast to drive. In fact, I may be the one that ends up at the main driver if we get it :)

Anyway, just wondering if anyone knows anyone that owns one. Better yet, has anyone owned one? What were/are your impressions of it for a daily driver? I still love my CX-5, but this might be a fun 2nd car.

Thanks guys!

Funny you ask..I saw this last night- pretty funny but also generally spot on and I agree w/alot of what these Canucks were saying. If you want/need the awd its kinda dated, miss the hatch but still a great choice(never owned) but driven several times- check insurance cost before pulling trigger and don't you dare get the CVT! If you don't need the awd and don't mind a plasticy interior the little Hyundai is pretty hard to resist its so damn fun- knew it in the first 30 seconds, getting one soon...anyway good luck, enjoy!

Great video - thanks! The Hyundai is pretty cool, but I need the AWD. I'm still a Subaru fan too.

+1 Sub fan- wife had Forester XT manual- thing was a sleeper rocket - but needed a bit more rear seat when kid came and a 6th gear bad- now she's diggin on the Ascent even though we don't need that kind of room- it was a nice ride tho.
Guessing you saw:

WRX..the car I thought I'd for sure own at some point it just never quite got me- idk little crude never loved the steering or shifter.. I need awd too(where cx5 comes in) but if I needed one car to suit both utility and fun factor it would likely be that..or something +10k or so more.
