The flat o-ring is useable, just different from the rest. Guessing previous owner replaced that one. The other two stay closed, I just pulled on them so the break shows up better. They probably do need replacing tho. $160 what I paid for them, never had them installed

Got the ZE intake installed yesterday, had to do some rigging to make the throttle cable line up with the TB but it appears to be working fine. Need to get the axle out of the driver side hub to get it installed in the trans, but other than that I am getting close.

its good stuff! :D ive been running redline in my P5 trans for almost a year now, does an amazing job! its what ive been running in my S13s for the past 15 odd years!!!

Glad to hear. It was between that and synchromesh. I couldn't find the latter. I just have to replace my clutch now and it started slipping about 2 weeks ago so I can't say I really feel the difference.

Before and after.. new springs ride a little higher, and smoother.

(I'm trying to relearn all the things that I used to know, like embedding images. Give me a little time, it's been a while)

Clean! Always liked the red

Now, just delete the bumper marker lights, drop the front about 1/2 inch, and get some jdm tails [emoji4][emoji1360]

anyone have the part number or official name of the headlight tab the front bumper sits on? my driver side one is missing since i got the car and i feel like fixing it. tired of looking at the gap.

Don't know the part number or if it's still available but it's an MSP/P5/MP3 specific part if you are looking in junkyards.

Took the stock axle/hub to work and pressed out the axle. Took quite a bit of force but finally popped loose. Hammered the axle into the trans this morning, got the suspension buttoned up, intake solenoids and vac lines routed, stock MSP shifter and fuel rail/injectors installed with new seals.

Planning to install the valve cover, K&N intake, thunder header, stock midpipe, K member brace, radiator, front bumper, under covers, ignition setup, battery, strut tower brace and coolant overflow tomorrow and see if it will start. Should run a lot better once it has some fresh gas in the tank, have no idea how old the fuel is that is in there.

Regarding the orings on those endlinks; Midwest Controls has some rubber boots that fit nicely over the rod ends as dust boots. Part number RS375. I trust them a bit more to keep debris out of the rod ends than the orings supplied.

I'm still hearing a clunk from one of the Midwest Controls rod ends, but I'm searching for one with the right race material (steel on steel right now. Going to try steel on nylon next)

Also replaced the timing belt/ components after it lost some teeth. Original timing components lasted 215,000 miles! Luckily no valve-valve contact or (obviously) valve-piston contact.

Autocrossed the car too. Another one coming up this weekend. https://youtu.be/ECdkE22QEiI

P5 is done, battery didn't have enough juice to start it last night so I picked up a new one today. Going to try to start it tonight. Noticed a small leak from the thermostat housing, tightened the bolt so hopefully it will stop leaking. Has a new gasket so there really isn't any reason for the leak.

Just need an EGR cap for the header and it's good to go. Going to get it all legal to drive and then start cleaning it up and modding it more!

It's alive! Needs a cap for the EGR port and has a slight leak at the thermostat housing but it runs, drove it for a few miles last night. Desperately needs a fresh tank of gas but I am relieved everything went as planned.

Washed her and got a pretty sweet filter from snapchat =D

Figured out a fix for the EGR. I cut the stock pipe, took the nut off for the exhaust mani and stuck a dime in it, then screwed the cap onto the header EGR nipple. Works like a charm and doesn't leak. It is so much nicer to drive without the horrendous sounding exhaust leak.

One of the small coolant lines that originally went to the throttle body (now bypassed) sprung a leak so I need to fix that, but the thermostat housing does not appear to be leaking anymore.

Also picked up some laser blue passenger side front and rear doors for the car, the original doors have a stripe all the way down them from swiping something. These are in much better shape with just a couple small dings and a scratch. Still have a ton of work to do: detail interior, replace tail light, detail outside and polish/wax paint, swap spoiler, either replace fogs or install MSP lip, install colormatched grill, install rear hatch tray and stock sub, swap speakers, swap head unit, swap floor mats/MSP door sills, get the windows tinted, remove vinyl on door frames, bleed brakes and clutch, adjust e-brake, swap steering wheel, remove side molding, install 6 rear wiper, etc etc etc.
