What have you done to your CX-5 today?

Changed engine oil and rotated tires yesterday...complete exterior polish, sealant, and wax today. Ready to go to work tomorrow to relax!

LoL! I've hit 100 in every car I've owned. Had some traffic ahead so laid off. This time. [emoji106]
Cleaned the ever loving hell out of her today. In & out. MIL came over with this rubbing compound magic s*** she has and took some scratches out of it. Looking good!

Damn sexy black CX-5 right there.

Plan on waxing mine Wednesday before I head out on a road trip on thursday.

What was the rubbing compound she used? Mine is riddled with scratches.

I don't like rubbing compound because the last time I used it on my Saab, it took some of the paint off my car. I don't want to do that.
I'm like "you are not using that on my car!".
She's all "I promise this won't take the paint off". Damn if she wasn't right. There was zero paint on the rag. She bought it from Summit which is a car mod place here in Cleveland. Not sure where you'd get this in Colorado. She sent a picture of it when I asked what it was. Pure ******* magic is what I call it.

/Edit 2/ Mom in law knows her s*** when it comes to detailing. Her rag of choice? Old white socks.

Went for a drive, did some local running but mostly freeway at 80-110km/hr.

The diesel fuel economy is pretty good ..... over 1000km for the tank.

Interesting and awesome. Thanks 7!

Even towing my boat (1200kgs) on highway trips, which halves my typical fuel economy to around 11.5L/100kms, I can safely get 500+kms on a tank of diesel.

I cannot imagine what your driving conditions are to get only 430kms on a tank of unleaded.... must be horrendus!
