how 2 post a pic in your post

i was wondering how do you post a picture in your post without a link? i want the picture to come up automatically, not open after you hit a link. if you know how to do this and could help me i would greatly appreciate it.

you first have to upload images in your manage files part of your User CP. After the upload copy the entire address of the picture. Then in your post use the vB commands. I don't konw if I can show you them but I'll try. The site will probably try to run the command. Example:

(IMG) pictureaddresshere (/IMG)

(used () around image command so it would show, for the command to actually work you use [ ] on each side)

That will process the image at that address on the screen. If you use the IMG button be ready to paste the picture address in the command box. Let me know if you need any other help.

I figured it would try to run that command. That's why theres a red x.

pa, i followed your instructions, and when i go to preview post, all i have is the box with the x in it as gxl has. which option do i choose, the image or hyperlink, when i do hyperlink i get the http thing. is that correct? if it is do i just then type my address that is shown in my user cp folder.

Yes use the Image button. First thing is to go into the user cp folder and click on manage files. Hilight the entire web address of the picture you want. It'll be extremely long so use copy and paste.

Then click the Image button and Paste in the long address you got into the http box. Make sure you delete the initial http written in that box. I'll try to come up with some screen captures tomorrow if you're still having troubles. That might help you out a bit.

now all you need to so is to resize your images so they arn't so HUGE.
