sort of. to keep it as short as possible, its going well but brutally slowly and im starting to get impatient. im a little limited since it's a student shop and i need to work with some of the TA's while we finalize the design, but we are getting warmer.
so the good news is i am turning out test rings, the bad news is theyre not perfect.
ive got a pretty good idea of whats working and whats not, so hopefully tomorrow we can move another inch on this.
just so you has an idea of why this is so difficult - i had two rings to test fit. one was too big and didnt sit flush, one was too small and didnt stay in. the difference in size was .008", or less than .3mm
