Just did the ETB ground mod.
I noticed the difference, throttle response more crisp.. (flame2)
So I guess it worked...
I don't think it's the placebo effect,.... I did the same mod. on my wife's 3i without her knowing. ......She called me later that night and asked if i did the ground on her car because it "felt smoother". (She knew I was doing it to my 3s, but not on her 3i).
Both 2.0 and 2.3L seem to benefit from this mod.
So for us, the ETB ground mod. worked and can be done cheaply (thumb)
I used:10 Gauge 100% copper wire (3 feet) black jacket
3/8" (hole dia.) 3M Ring Connects
Electrical Tape
Wire Stripper/Crimper Tool
Socket Set
All said and done I did 2 cars for UNDER $5 since I only needed to buy the rings and wire. Could easily do another car out of leftover wire and O-rings.
