do bc proteges come with block heaters? i have an 03 lx now living in canmore.

missed out on the meet in town

bc ones i don't think they do..personally I think any canadian car should come w/ one.

No, BC cars don't come with a block heater. We don't have extreme cold here to warrant them. Glen, what were you thinking...sheesh...(bang)

I thought all Canadian cars did come with them. Hmmmm... Just check for a cord under your hood. Look back by your battery, down on top of the transmission for a black power cord. If there isn't one there, you can buy one for cheap.

It doesn't get cold in northern BC? LOL It really depends on what the dealer orders. Most of the dealers in Calgary will order block heaters in the options list, when I bought my EL in vancouver mine didn't come with a block heater.

Get the dealer to install the heater. If your car catches on fire from the block heater insurance may not cover you.
